309 Honey takes their name from the famous and historic "309 Road" which crosses the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand coast-to-coast.
The Coromandel Peninsula environment is world-renowned for being a spectacular, rugged, unspoiled wilderness where clear crisp rivers flow through peaceful valleys, making it the perfect habitat for wild Manuka to grow, keeping the bees busy.
309 has 2500 hives, producing several tonnes of honey each year, despite the very short seasons. The honey is also bottled under strict regulations on-site in New Zealand, assuring the very finest quality Manuka Honey arrives here.
